Happy Cyber Monday! I hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving weekend – we were going to go up to Montana to visit my family, but the flu was going around so we stayed home in Utah. It was a full-on blizzard last week so it was kind of nice to have an extra reason to stay bundled up inside at home with the fam.

The sales have been crazy this weekend and I had a few things I planned to pull the trigger on this weekend, but then life gets in the way and you realize how many people are on your Christmas list that you haven’t thought about yet and the pressure is on! So I wanted to share some of my favorite Cyber weekend sales to shop for everyone on your list!

The Nordstrom sale has endless gift options. It’s a great time to pick up high-end items at a bigger discount or also to pick up those items you would buy anyway and still save a few bucks. I love these boots for Cody – such a pretty color and on sale under $100!

SSENSE is one retailer that always has the most unique designer pieces and right now is the best time of year to splurge on designer anything. For that special someone on your list, make it a year to remember and go big or go home with a handbag or pair of shoes from one of her favorite designers.

MISSOMA JEWELRY (ON SALE 25% OFF WITH CODE: CA25)

Guysss I’m still drooling over all my Missoma pieces. I’ve been wearing them non-stop and they are my latest obsession. Probably my favorite accessory lately! Right now you can get 25% off site-wide with code: CA25 they made just for my readers!

I have been on the hunt for gift ideas for Ollie – he is so young that I know he won’t remember anything, but I still want to find something! I think the bulk of his presents will be the items we use on the daily, especially clothes! H&M’s sale is up to 60% off items – even this cable knit set (a new arrival) was on sale for 20% off. Definitely stocking up!

LEGO SETS (ON SALE 25% OFF WITH CODE: BF25)

Who else’s kids love Legos? Target has a ton of sets on major sale right now – this one is 50% off!

For older kids (or your kid-at-heart S/O) you can’t go wrong with a video game console. This one is $100 off right now.

Anthropologie is always my go-to for any house-warming or hostess gifts. Everything is amazing quality and feels super luxurious (plus so pretty!) These candles smell like the freshest winter forest – one of my favorites! It also comes with the cloche which is such a pretty touch. Everything at Anthropologie is 30% off right now so it’s going to be the best time this season to stock up on candles, cute mugs, or anything gifts for anyone else on your list this year (or for you! 😉

Macy’s is a one of those retailers you might overlook, but they have a huge variety of items and their sales are no joke. This coffee/espresso maker is usually $300+ but on sale right now for under $100. It’s such a steal and the perfect present for your in-laws, home-body friends or also as a housewarming present!

I shared this sale on my stories this past weekend but this would make the best present for your pups this Christmas! It’s a dog camera that has 2-way audio, a treat-tossing system so you can toss treats even when you are out of the house, and a camera so you can see it all. Honestly Mio is parked in front of the Furbo when we aren’t home now – it’s so cute! Also it’s 46% off right now, which is the biggest sale they’ve ever had. Definitely recommend if you are looking for something for your pups this year!

(SITE WIDE 25% OFF CODE: MORE19)

You know you are going to add those shoes, jeans, or sweaters to your cart at some point, so you might as well check out while it’s on sale! Shopbop is having their spend more save more sale, so you can save between 15-25% off your order. I have had my eye on SLVRLAKE jeans – they are definitely an investment pair but they are so good I keep coming back to look! Right now you can save up to 25% off your Shopbop order with code: MORE19.

Also make sure you check out the Revolve sale! They have tons of my favorite brands, but I feel like they have some styles that a lot of other retailers don’t carry. How gorgeous is this faux fur jacket and  this striped coat  is on sale.

As we are gearing up for the holidays, I am already braced for the inevitably driest time of year. It’s so bad in Utah that you have to put lotion on your hands multiple times a day just to keep them from cracking. Hands are one thing, but I’m even more conscious of my facial skincare routine so I wanted to share a few things I’ve learned recently (that we pretty much all do) around the holidays that is 100% drying out your skin, and some of my favorite products to help hydrate and hold in that moisture!

Traveling.

The busiest travel season of the year is just about to kick off and it also happens to coincide with the driest time of year, so I think it’s safe to say we’re all on high skincare alert. In-flight skincare routines are all the rage, but I actually read a story recently that it might be drying out your skin even more. When you apply sheet masks in-flight, it can bring the remaining moisture in your skin to the surface and then the dry plane air will basically absorb it all. I know there are so many different theories out there, but to play it safe, apply your skincare routine before you get on the plane so your products have a chance to absorb and start working for you instead of against you. My travel skincare must-haves are a good hyaluronic acid serum (been using Mineral 89 by Vichy for months and love!), a good eye serum (just started using Mineral 89 Eyes) and cream, and a moisturizer. Hyaluronic acid is capable of holding over 1000x its weight in water, so it really helps keep your moisture locked it! I also always pack a good face mask to give my skin an extra boost to combat some of the side effects of travel.

Washing your face with hot water.

Am I the last person to learn this one?! I always thought that the hotter the water, the better but it’s actually doing more harm than good. When you wash with hot water, you strip your skin of the natural oils and as a result your face feels dry/parched. Nobody wants to use cold water, especially in the winter, but instead, use lukewarm water whenever you wash your face. Then apply your moisturizing products immediately after –  there will still be some moisture on your skin, and your products will help seal it in. Vichy’s Mineral 89 plumps, hydrates and fortifies your skin, so definitely one to add to your skincare regimen as an everyday staple.

Cranking the heat.

There’s nothing cozier than turning up the heat in the fall and winter. (Does anyone else love the smell of the heater when it kicks on for the first time of the season?) It dries out the air, but an easy fix is adding a humidifier. If you haven’t, it makes a huge difference! A tip for any of you building a home right now – you can actually have them build a humidifier system into the house! It’s not as expensive as I would have thought, so it was a no-brainer considering how much we had our humidifiers going.

I know we can’t live day-to-day avoiding 100% of the things that might be drying out your skin, but one thing you can control is what you are putting on your skin to add that moisture back in! It’s such an easy step to add to your routine, but even easier to skip so I wanted to share some of the moisturizing products in my current line-up. You’ve seen me post about my Vichy Mineral 89 before – it has 89% Vichy Mineralizing Water and also has hyaluronic acid so it leaves your skin plump and hydrated. They also just launched their Mineral 89 Eyes Hyaluronic Acid Eye Gel, which has the Mineralizing water, hyaluronic acid, and… drum roll… pure caffeine. I love eye serums with a little caffeine to help tighten and brighten your under-eye area!

(All of Vichy’s products are super clean too! No parabens, silicone, etc.) Right now you can get 20% off at VichyUsa.com so you can try out the Mineral 89 Eyes (just apply code: CHRISTINE19 at check out 🙂
