This past winter, we saw lots of It girls revisiting an old shoe staple: UGG boots. Kendall Jenner paired them with a cool bomber jacket and leggings, Gigi Hadid opted for a coat-and-T-shirt ensemble, and Rihanna styled them with a camo parka—and that's just the tip of the iceberg. Now, thanks to the new, revamped Classic II style from the brand—which debuted at Thaddeus O'Neil's show at men's fashion week—we can expect even more people to jump on the bandwagon.

To celebrate the launch of the new boots, UGG shared some fascinating facts about its brand: On average, UGG sells a pair of Classic Boots every 8 seconds and roughly 40 million people own a pair. Now that's impressive!

So what's different about the new iteration? According to the press release, the Classic II "incorporates innovative technology including water and stain resistance, better traction, and an overall lighter weight for increased wearability." Count us in.
