It's no secret that Hollywood's biggest stars wield lots of influence on social media. But who takes the cake for having the most powerful online presence of them all? None other than Selena Gomez.

AdWeek tapped analytics company D'Marie for statistical insights, which showed that a single social media post from Gomez is worth a whopping $550,000. So where did that number come from? Frank Spadafora, CEO of D'Marie Group, explained the figure: "The rate-per-post is her 'ad equivalent' value per post across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram," he told AdWeek. "This valuation is based on D'Marie's algorithm which measures 56 metrics including followers, post frequency, engagement, quality of post, click-thru and potential to create sales conversions from her social content."

Spadafora points out that this might not be what Gomez actually gets paid for her social media campaigns—"that is up to negotiations between her agents and the brands," he clarifies. Kendall and Kylie Jenner round out the top three on the company's list of most valuable celebrities on social media.
