Today Nike announced the newest iteration of its über-popular Air Max 1 sneaker, and it may be the coolest (literally) spin on the style to date. For the 2016 update, Nike is debuting the shoe in Flyknit, a woven construction that provides for extra ventilation and keeps the shoes super light. 

It may be almost 30 years since this iconic sneaker style first appeared, but with the current popularity of the athleisure trend, there's no better time to give the cool kicks a spin.
