As Tory Burch puts it, the Gemini Link that’s become a staple of her handbag offerings “celebrates life’s dualities.” So it’s only fitting that for the designer's latest photo series, she enlisted the help of two major style stars and personalities that have stood on both sides of the camera. While the final images show Kate Bosworth in the brand’s wares—all a little laid back, a little boho, very L.A.— below, we’re taking a peek at the behind-the-scenes images where photographer Margaret Zhang helped bring it all to life.

“I’d been in conversation with Tory and her team from earlier on in the year about building a visual representation of modern women and their dualities, aligned with Tory’s Gemini collection,” says Zhang of the project. “Kate was an obvious subject, as an intelligent, multi-faceted and creative individual.”

Bosworth, who says she was particularly drawn to the rainbow striped Gemini style echoed a similar sentiment: "Perhaps what I love most is what the Gemini Link bag represents, which is the multiple roles we take on as powerful women. I am an actress, a producer, a stepmother, a friend, a wife..."
