You can now own a piece of royal fashion history—for a price. People reports that a gorgeous necklace Princess Diana wore in 1997 will be up for auction at Guernsey's. The price tag is a staggering $12 million for the necklace and the matching earrings, which were dubbed the "Swan Lake set" because the late princess wore them to a performance of Swan Lake in London. According to People, it was one of her final public appearances, as she died just two months later. 

This is far from the first time that a piece of Princess Diana memorabilia has been highly coveted. Last summer, a sequined dress of hers was auctioned for $145,000, while her beaded Versace gown was sold for a whopping $200,000 back in 2015. Not that there was any doubt, but it's clear that her fashion legacy continues to be admired decades later.
