Zara's Brand-New Section Is Hiding Its Edgiest Pieces Yet

From giving you the inside scoop on sales to clueing you in to a hidden site, we love helping our readers satiate their Zara obsession. Now, allow us to bring your attention to a new section Zara just quietly introduced with no fanfare (i.e. with nary an Instagram post or email newsletter): Shape the Invisible. As Refinery29 pointed out, the section offers the first look at a new collaboration.

"Shape the Invisible is a collaboration between Zara and new talents emerging from some of the most important design schools," the retailer explains. On another page, Zara delves into more detail about the theme: "With recycling as the initial idea, Zara gave the schools clothing from previous seasons, with which the students then created new garments adding their own design and vision."

Zara also clarified exactly which schools are involved: "The Royal Academy of Antwerp, Parsons School in New York, EnsAD in Paris and Kingston University in London are all participating in this project."

We know that the collaboration involves 60 designs created by 60 students, but we don't have a launch date or prices quite yet. Stay tuned as we learn more—in the meantime, scroll through some of our favorite edgy pieces from the collaboration.
